Please can you help me pay my Fathers Water Bill. I have managed to set up his electricity bill and Community charge on regular international payments but have difficulty paying his water bill as all the telephone numbers I have tried are unable to help. Over the telephone I have been able to pay his bill previously with his address, contract number and my passport number. I do not have the complete ban number on his bills and understand for security reasons this can not be given to me. I don’t want the water cut off but don’t know how to pay this going forward. Contract number 142.720 Re Eric Thomas. Please can someone help me. Thank you

    • Nicola Ryan

I have tried to register on Hidraqua without success. I don’t get any further than the 1st step entering NIF, NIE or Passport Number. My passport number is on my Contract nut when I enter is says it is the wrong format? I tried my NIE Number but is does not recognise this as a. Client. Help please

    • Jane

      Hi Ron

We would suggest you use your NIE but the confusion may be with whatever document you used originally to open your account. We do provide a service to contact utility companies if you wish us to do that rather than contact yourself.

      Kind Regards

      Jane

I have a large water bill and I think they are trying to charge me for water used before I moved in here…as I can see two dates on there… 2006 and 2010…. I bought the property in 2016… I’ve been to the ayuntimiento but she just said that was my bill for the last 3 months? It’s €280

    • Jane

      Hi Sheila

You should either contact your solicitor as they would have dealt with this as part of your post sale. If they are unable to help please contact our office and we will see what we can do to assist.

      Kind Regards

    Hi Nicola

I hope you can help me to resolve my Hidraqua water bill. I completed on my property last year and being UK based, due to covid I only managed to visit twice for less than one week. The developer has not been particularly helpful regarding utilities and I did not receive any information as to who I was connected with, payments schedules, etc. I have managed to sort out the electricity but I am having difficulty with the water. They have now made contacted and have disconnected the water and presented me with the bill (745,45). I am more than ready to pay (although unhappy at having to pay a reconnection fee) but when I try to register on their site it tells me I’m already registered! Looking at the bill I cannot see a straightforward Bank name, sort code account number or even my account reference number. I have emailed them twice now and they reply by telling me I must pay before reconnection!

Can you please shed some light on where I may find their bank info?

Apologies in advance if this is such a basic question!

    Many thanks
    Smiles
    Michelle

    • Nicola Ryan

      Good Afternoon Michelle,

      Thank you for your enquiry.

Can we ask if you have tried to call Hydragua please, they do speak English. When you call, there will be an option to speak to someone in English and you may be able to pay over the phone, or they could email you their bank details.

In regard to your contract number, this should be on the top right-hand corner of your bill.

Should you need any assistance with the payment of the bill and the reconnection of the water, please do not hesitate to contact us. We would be delighted to help you.

      Kind regards
      Nicola

    Hi
I am hoping you can help me. I have owned a property in Gran Alicant since 2006 and it has been rented full time for the past few years. Just before covid my tenants left the property and I have been unable to get to Spain to sort bills etc. I have tried contacting companies directly and I have found this difficult. I am desperately trying to pay my gas bill who I have with gasNaturalfenosa. I have asked for the bills to sent to my emails so I can pay directly. Can you advise of what to do?
    Thanks Shirley

    • Nicola Ryan

      Good Morning Shirley,

      Thank you for your enquiry.

      Gas Natural are one of the most difficult companies to contact. You may be able to request the invoices to be emailed to you on the following link;

      https://www.naturgy.es/hogar/fnt_hogar/factura_online

If you are unsuccessful or need some assistance, we would be delighted to help you. We will contact you directly to discuss this matter further.

      Kind regards

    Good Afternoon
I own a property in Cuevas De San Marcos, due to Covid-19 I’ve not been able to get over. Also I’ve not been able to access my bank account to check who have been paid. I’ve now managed to get access to my account and it seems I owe the water and the electric. The bank have told be to contact them to regenerate a DD. I tried to sort the water out at the Town Hall and they were more interested in going to lunch than sorting the problem out.(It doesn’t help that my Spanish isn’t good enough to communicate successfully

    • Nicola Ryan

      Afternoon Kevin,

      Thank you for your enquiry.

This is a common problem with many clients at the moment. We will contact you directly to discuss this matter further, and confirm if and how we can help.

We pay our water and electricity bills by direct debit, but I’ve been trying to register with both Hidraqua and Iberdrola so I can manage our utilities in our Spanish holiday home online. I’ve tried inputting NIE number, contract & bill no’s for Hidraqua but I keep getting messages that the contract doesn’t exist. If I try the passport number from when we first bought the house in 2002 it does not recognise the format. Iberdrola gives me a message that my NIE number does not have an account with them either. I tried contacting them via their website, but it won’t process my email enquiry because my telephone number isn’t correct. I’m at a loss as to how to proceed.
    Can you advise?

    • Nicola Ryan

Thank you for your enquiry Roy.

As far as we are aware, the companies have to set the online access up. If you are using a UK telephone number, they’re system may not recognise it as they will only accept a Spanish telephone number. We may be able to help you, we will contact you directly to discuss this matter further.

      Kind regards
      Nicola

We are receiving requests for payments of outstanding amounts from Abinitio on behalf of Hydraqua but whennwe go on the Hydraqua website there are no outstanding amounts. Can you shed any light on this? Thanks

    • Nicola Ryan

Thank you for your enquiry Denise,

We would strongly recommend that you contact Hidragua, by phone, to discuss this matter with them. They do speak English. You need to confirm if they have passed any debts to another company before you pay any money to Abinitio. Usually, if there is a debt or unpaid bills with Hidragua, they will cut the supply of water until the balance is paid. We do not recommend that you pay anything until you have spoken with Hidragua. We hope this helps.

      Kind regards
      Nicola

  • Sofia Igmedio

    HI,
May i pay water bill using my credit card issued outside Spain?

    • Nicola Ryan

Thank you for your enquiry Sofia,

Yes, you should be able to pay with any card. It would be best to contact the company directly to discuss if this is possible.

      Kind regards
      Nicola
