This is just a quick post for all those affected by the terrible storms Thursday and Friday.

You may have found out already that PROBABLY your home insurance IS NOT REALLY GOING TO COVER YOU. If this is the case, it is very important that you are aware and make others aware that the general Insurance Consortium (Consorcio de Seguros) has announced that it will cover damages in the Valencia Region.

Once we are aware about the Murcia region, we will inform you, but in the first instance contact your insurance company directly FOR THEM TO HAVE THE CLIENT’S NOTIFICATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. . Houses have to have had Spanish insurance cover in place with one of the usual general coverages. Cars too will be covered as long as an insurance policy was in place (Spanish). An insurance assesor will come out and the process will go from there.

To make the claim it is important that you get in touch with your insurance or with the Insurance Consortium through 900222665 or www.consorseguros.com

📢IMPORTANT:

The Insurance Consortium for Compensation has eliminated the limited time to present documentation formerly 7 days.

Our utmost sympathy to all those affected by these terrible events. Please note we have been away from the office at the end of last week so have a lot of enquiries to answer.

Anyone with a purchase, please not not worry, there are ways to check matters. Contact us for more assistance.

I hope this is not too late.
We have been given the incorrect information. Hence the delay. My friend of 85 yr was flooded out for 5days in Dolores. Lost everything. Has all Linea Direct insurance. Can he still claim from the Spainish consortium
