Hello September

Hello September, my favourite month in Spain. Yes, there is a flurry of activity at the beginning, back to schools, work, maybe Summer visitors still arriving but basically all is calm again and routine after Summer madness.  It is a time that we should feel refrehshed and just like at the start of a New Year, full of energy.

You may have a lot of plans, thinking of a move to Spain, within Spain, or back home or to another country. If so, please do not forget that we can help guide you befre you put your house on the market, or as you start to search and it is certainly  best to speak to us before putting any offer on a property.

Perhaps you have decided to let out your property long or short term. If so, please seek our help with regard to advice especially regaring tourist licence requirements before letting. There have been many new rules in recent years.

Lastly, do not forget that if you have not made a Spanish Will, this is both important and cost effective for your family. If you are a Spanish Resident and you die without a Spansih Will, it can lead to all manner of future problems. Also whether you are a Spanish resident or not, not having a Spanish Will means thatprobate from your home country will have to be obtained. This is expensive and takes a long time, and every time I see a family say why did we not persaude X to make a Will in Spain. As always, please let us know if you have any questions about Spanish Wills of other matters.
