An Online Denuncia in Spain

You may not be aware that in certain cases it is possible to make an online denuncia in Spain. Also called an “e-denuncia” with the Guardia Civil. It is only in Spanish.

You can make a report for reporting loss of documents or personal belongings. Also for robbery without violence or intimidation or threats. Or alternatively when you have found belongings previously reported missing.

In addition you can report the theft of a vehicle.

What Next When You Have Made An Online Denuncia in Spain

After making the denuncia online in Spain, you then have three days to go to a Guardia Civil office. This is to confirm the report at the assigned Guardia Civil station, or at a different one providing the reference you have been given.

People who have used this application will have priority when in the Guardia Civil station and hopefully will find it much easier.

Don’t forget that when you make an online denuncia or formal police complaint. Or one in person at the police station, this may mean that you are called to a trial. Then you will have to attend.

      Good Morning Bilal,

      Thank you for your enquiry.

This is a matter for the police, we would recommend that you visit your local Guarda Civil with all the information and evidence and register a denuncia against the persons involved, the Guarda will then investigate if they have enough evidence ect. We hope this helps.

      Kind regards
      Nicola

My daughter lives with a violent partner. He smashed her car windscreen. She is too frightened to go to the police station to report the damage to her car. Can she report the destruction of her property online?

There was supposed to be an even organized by a spanish company in belgium in 2020; it was postponed to 2022 because of covid; then the organizers changed the form of the event (it was a convention during two days for a tv-show that had multiple actors invited, then they turned it into a two day event, with atleast 4 different tv shows, basically meaning that what was supposed to be a chill time and proper moments with your favorite actors, was turned into a rushed chaos) aka, we wouldn’t be getting what we paid for and yet, no possibilities for refunds were ever given. Then in 2022 they pushed it to September of 2023, using covid as a reason, even though events such as these had already been organized again. So the validity of that reason was utter bs. Surprise surprise, the event did not occur last month. Instead this company has not posted that they are bankrupt. I have contacted my country’s ECC and they have on my behalf found out that this, again, is utter bs. The company is still operational and not only are they operational, they have another company aswell. I am hoping that you could give some advice on the situation.

Dear Asta, We can only think of making a complaint to OMIC the Consumer Bureau in the area where the company is registered. Kind regards

      Morning Michael,

We are sorry to hear of this.

You would need to make a denuncia to the Spanish police, local to where the perpetrator lives and also in the UK. We are unsure which side will deal with this but we would recommend contacting the police in both countries. The more information and evidence you can provide the better. We hope you get this matter sorted quickly.
