… here in Spain, now that we have made it even easier.

Did you know we have now introduced a comments section on the Spanish Solutions blog?

The fact that you’re reading this at all tells us that you are already aware of who Spanish Solutions are.

Amongst other achievements, we are a company who want to be known as the friendly law firm in Spain. We are the 2014 Costa Blanca “Business of the Year”, we have successfully won legal cases against banks and builders and  many more on behalf of our clients. Many of these cases were on a no risk (no win no fee) basis – another bonus.

We genuinely want to help our clients to achieve their legal and taxation goals in Spain.

Questions

Often clients walk-in to our La Zenia office with various questions. Many of which we can deal with there and then. What about, for example, clients in Alicante are looking for legal assistance however? How do we help them with their initial enquiry?

These clients now have two choices if they want to get expert advice on legal / taxation/ property and notary services etc. They can make an appointment to meet a Spanish Solutions representative in Alicante city. It’s only 45 minutes up the road and we can be there in no time. The more notice we get the better.

Option two, and maybe the easiest one is to simply reply to the relevant blog post here on our website with a comment. You don’t need to get too detailed there, but a simple request such as:-

“Hello, I need assistance with my property purchase in Alicante” is more than acceptable.

Now, we don’t monitor the comments constantly, we still have thousands of expat clients to help. But, we’ll get to it as soon as we can.

Where we can, we´ll give you instant answers to your questions on living in Spain.

Assuming we can help you, we’ll let you know on the blog, plus we will email you more information.

The kinds of questions we get are:

“Do I have to pay non resident tax in Alicante”.
“How do I get a property rental licence in Alicante”.

That sort of thing is easy and we can just direct you to the most closely connected blog post or indeed your enquiry to the appropriate division.

Already we have had requests such as “Is there a Pizza Hut near you”? It’s not really what we set this up for, but we’re happy to help when we can.

    To whom it may concern,

my brother and I recently inherited a property in Denia (Monte Pego) with the death of our father. We are looking to hire a specialist who can guide us thru the necessary steps to comply with Spanish inheritance tax law as well as the transfer of the property.

Deceased: German citizenship, had a vacation home in Denia (Monte Pego)
Beneficiary I: Son, German, lives in Germany
Beneficiary II: Son, German and U.S. citizenship, lives in USA

I would be interested in learning what services are offered by your law firm as well as your pricing.

    Best regards,
    Boris Fischer

Hello we sold our property/business in Spain and always paid our taxes. We are now renting in Spain. In July 2018 we bought a house in UK , 150k but didn’t declare it for wealth tax purposes. No excuse we forgot due to travelling for most of 2018….We did submit our usual tax form. We have been told that the fines are huge even though we are ok to admit we messed up and are late in declaring…minimum 10k euros each. A tax person here has said it may be better to cleave and declare next year but then I understand that the house could be classed as a capital gain and we could be fined even more. The house was bought with remaining money from Spanish property sale….any advice ?

Our community president is enforcing a rule that owners can only use our pool for 1 x 2 hour slot per day.
The pool restrictions have been in force since July last year.
This is a residential complex in Tenerife now in level 2
On average I estimate no more than 8 persons a day use the pool. Social distancing is always observed.
He is now threatening to report any one spending more than 2 hours in the pool area to sanidad.
There are 22 beds available. But I believe this figure to be 30 % of capacity where as level 2 states 50 % is now permitted.
Can he do this, Owners are reluctant to take him on as he just names and shames them on the community website which he is adamant that he is entitled to do.more recently he has sent emails to every owner via the administrator again naming and shaming individuals
I believe he and the administrator are breaching data protection regs but don’t know what to do about it
